Toyota Reveals Electric Truck Concept for Drivers in the New Braunfels Area
Recently, Toyota announced they are bringing an all-new electric truck to market at an in-house Toyota event debuting the brand future electric vehicles. From what we understand, this new all-electric truck will be cross between mid-size vehicle akin to the Toyota Tacoma and a full-size Toyota Tundra.

Is It Possible for a Hybrid Like the Toyota Prius to be “Overly Quiet?”
Are you a walker, bicyclist or do you enjoy jogging? If so, you’ve likely been in a scary situation of some sort involving a motor vehicle. In fact, approximately 125,000 accidents occur each year between automobiles and pedestrians and bicyclists. Of that number, roughly 2,800 involve so-called “quiet cars,” like hybrid and electric vehicles.
Cars from Compost? Toyota Is Determined to Make it Happen
What do the following things have in common: CO2 emissions, cars and … compost? If you guessed “fueling cars through compost waste” you’re correct!
When Toyota announced that it plans to not just reduce but basically eliminate its CO2 emissions—both in its plants and the cars it makes—the company factored in the use of CO2 emissions produced by methane gas in, you guessed it, landfills.
What Goes To Waste Can Instead Fuel Your Car
"Waste not, want not," that's what mom always said. Can the same be true of our cars?
One important factor in reducing our environmental impact is using products that would otherwise go to waste. Using waste products means we reduce demand for new things, and it keeps waste out of landfills, where it does nothing but take up space and poison the environment.
The Toyota Mirai, which runs on hydrogen, can use fuel from recycled products. One way of using waste to make hydrogen is by fermenting cow poop and refining the gasses released.
You Would Be Surprised How Old Some New Technology Is!
In 2000, the Toyota Prius took the American market by storm as one of the very first hybrid cars. In 2015, the Toyota Mirai is going to be one of the very first hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
Except actually, the hydrogen fuel cell was invented in 1838. The hybrid? The turn of the last century.
Hybrids, fuel cells, and other sustainable technology has been around for a very long time. So why does it feel so new? Where have these technologies been all this time?
