Exterior and Interior Design
The new Toyota Highlander has a larger wheelbase than its predecessor. The SUV offers more cabin area, contributing to its smooth ride and handling.

The Highlander uses a 3.5L V6, generating 295 horses and a torque of 263 lb-ft. This power is enough to propel a fully loaded three-row Highlander. An 8-speed auto sends the power to the front wheels-optional AWD (all-wheel-drive). The EPA estimated the 3.5L V6 at 20/28 mpg (FWD), 20/27 miles per gallon (AWD).
