Toyota is known for making quality vehicles, and it's recently added a new SUV to its lineup. The new Grand Highlander has three rows of seats and even more room than the Highlander does. It's quite powerful, as well, making it ideal for family vacations away from New Braunfels.
This SUV can seat up to eight people if you choose a model with a second-row bench seat. If you prefer to have two captain's chairs in the middle row, that's an option, too. You can rearrange the cabin whenever you need to accommodate larger pieces of cargo. Folding down all the seats in the back results in a cargo volume of 97.5 cubic feet.
Toyota has equipped the Grand Highlander with many premium features, such as three-zone climate control, a digital key program and heated front seats. Leather upholstery and front-row ventilation can be found on the Limited and Platinum trims, with the Platinum also offering Boerne drivers heated and ventilated second-row seats.
The technology in this Toyota SUV is very impressive. All three of the available trims at Cavender Toyota come with 12.3-inch touchscreens. Their infotainment packages provide you with Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™ and SiriusXM®, making it easy to find things to listen to and look up information while you're traveling around Seguin.
The XLE and Limited can get their power from a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine or a hybrid system that uses a 2.5-liter engine and electric motor. The turbo engine generates up to 265 horsepower, while the hybrid system comes close to that, making up to 245 horsepower combined. The Platinum can run on that same turbo engine, and it's also available with a Hybrid MAX powertrain if you prefer something different. The Hybrid MAX system is a plug-in hybrid system using the same turbo engine, and the result is a total of up to 362 horsepower.
