Did you know that there is a very easy, yet relatively unknown method of reducing your chances of breaking down during the cold winter season? Allow us here at Cavender Toyota to explain.
If you want to avoid car trouble this winter, you should always be sure to keep your gas tank filled up as much as possible. While this may seem somewhat unrelated, the fact of the matter is that if you just keep your gas tank full or at least halfway full, you will keep the amount of unwanted air that enters your gas tank to a minimum. The less air that you have in your gas tank means that much less condensation will occur in your tank when the temperature drops.
Condensation is very bad news for your vehicle in the winter, because it can freeze up your fuel lines to the point where your car won't even start! Wouldn't it be a nightmare to get stranded in the parking lot after a long day at the office, simply because of a frozen gas line?
