It's a good idea to get your tires rotated before you get on the road. This will ensure that there is no undue pressure on the front of the car, which could stop you from braking abruptly or making turn properly. It may even be necessary for you to have one or more of your tires replaced before your trip as well.
Have all the fluids topped off in your vehicle as well? Your oil should be topped off or changed, and your transmission fluid and windshield wiper solution need to be filled as well.
