Toyota vehicles are supposed to be reliable, but that claim has never been tested quite as much as it was by Top Gear.
In the first segment of "Killing a Toyota," they subjected an old Toyota truck to reckless driving, salt-water baths, wrecking ball assault, and trial by fire.
When that wasn't enough to kill it, they went at it again. Will a 240 foot drop off of a demolished building be enough to finally put the nail in the coffin for this truck?
Of course not. Though the chassis has split nearly in half, the Toyota just keeps chugging along. And keep in mind, this truck has only been repaired with basic tools like a crowbar and wrenches. No replacement parts were used. The original engine and battery are still functioning... somehow.
